The Next Fishing Star?

Just wanted to fill you in on Greg's fishing. He is fishing the Texas Bass Champs Tournament Trail. Their last tournament was at Choke Canyon in Three Rivers Texas. Fishing was tough that day. Even with the fish starting to spawn, are in shallow water and are highly aggressive.....Man I've been watching too many fishing shows.... they were still elusive. Greg and his team mate Chris weighed in only 3 keepers for 6 pounds 10 oz. They didn't place in the money but they had a blast. Score thus far FISH-2 GREG-0. His next tournament is at Falcon Lake on April 26th. He is positive that this will be his "Break Through Tournament" Who knows family...you may all be related to the next fishing star...instead of KVD (Kevin Van Dam) It'll be GAB on your Sat fishings shows!

Sadly we were not able to go to Janie & Jesse's this year for Easter. We ALL have severe cases of conjunctivitis (PINKEYE). It was terrible! Well just wanted to share our Quaratine pics with the rest of the world...PS We are all better now!!!

Women's Health

I recently found out about a new medicaid program for women's health. The program is pretty new so i don't have a lot of information on it. We do have applications at the Castroville Road office that we can mail or they can be picked up. On the last page of the application there is an address to send it to. Everything is done by mail and phone so nobody will have to miss work to go into an office for an interview. Anway, just FYI. For those who are interested the phone number is 210.431.8700 or you can reach me directly at 210.431.2389.

Thanks,
Kristy

Gone Fishin'

Just wanted to drop everyone a note to say hi. Had this really cute picture of Brieana I wanted to share. We went fishing at Canyon Lake. Well, Greg and will went fishing, Clayton was bored, I went rock hunting and Brieana played with the night crawlers. She absolutely had a blast with them! She is not afraid of any bug or creepy crawly thing at all. We shared a picnic.....well kind of a picnic.....Greg forgot to pack the bread for the sandwiches....oh well...that’s the stuff that memories are made of.....

Derek's Baseball Tryout

Derek was in line to try out for baseball. He was really nervous because he hadn't played ball for two years. So, he just kept saying he was gonna screw up and he just wanted to go home. When they called his number he went up to the plate. First pitch was a solid line drive to center field. Anyone who has played baseball knows the sound of a solid hit. A few people stopped talking and watched. Second pitch came and the same hit. Now everybody was watching. Third pitch, swing and a miss. Fourth pitch came in and that baby flew over the fence and almost over the second fence that lead to the other field. It was one of those hits that starts low and just keeps going!!! It was awesome. Then they put him on third and nothing got past him. He could not have had a better tryout. When he was walking away everyone was high fiving him and making some comment. He was calm, cool and collected as he walked off the field and sat in the car. When the door shut he looked at me and went nuts!!! So, i did the mature thing and said, "baby you really kicked @#* out there!!! He just laughed and said, "Yeah i did!!!" It was great!!!
