Hello Everyone,
I thought I would post some information about the new website menu on here first and then later in an email for the people who don't check the kruse news all the time. I'm sure since you are on this page you have noticed that the menu for the kruse website has changed pretty drastically. I have been working on a new menu of one type or another for about a year now. The other menu's that I tried never seemed to work right until I found this menu. I love this menu. It's elegant and simple to use. It may take some time to get used to, but it takes up so much less space than the old one. Also, if you were very observant you noticed that their were three brand new links. I won't tell you what two of them are because I want you to find them, but also because they don't actually go anywhere yet. All the times I've been telling you that I was working on some things for the website these were it. The one I will tell you about is "The Memory Book". You may remember this from when Granny and Grandpa gave them out to all of their kids. I have made it more useful. Thank You goes to Nancy for lending me the original files so that I was able to use the text without scanning it in. The pictures are of higher quality than was able in the Memory Book before. And last but not least is my favorite feature of the new Memory Book. It is completely searchable. You can search for people's names or phrases or just any word you can think of and it will find it, if it is there to be found. When you click on the link for the Memory Book, which is under Kruse History, you will be taken to a page unlike any other page on the website. It is pretty devoid of stuff accept for the actual Memory Book. At the top of the Book is a navigation bar. You can do many things with the navigation bar and I urge you to play around with it and figure stuff out, but that is where the search bar is. It is pretty obvious. It has the word 'Search' in the box where you type what you are looking for. I urge you to try the search out and be amazed at what you can find and how much more useful the Memory Book really is now. Now go out and enjoy the website.
